Mariquitinas specialises in communion dresses and special occasion pieces, but offered us some more 'every-day' styles, still made in artisan workshops, still smocked and embroidered, but made from gentle cottons with more relaxed silhouettes. Little dresses that are as at home barefoot on the lawn, as they are paired with frilly socks and white leather shoes. The workmanship is exquisite, the design is flawless. The dresses start in baby sizes from 3 months, which are buttoned at the top of the back gently falling open over the matching bloomers they come with. From size 2 years the dress buttons at the top but has a closed back and still comes with matching bloomers, in sizes 3 and 4 years the dress is closed at the back, loses the bloomers, and has a slightly longer length falling just below the knee to suit the older girl.
